Clarent Consulting LLC (“Clarent Consulting”) runs clarentconsulting.com and its client portal. This site doesn’t use advertising trackers or sell personal information.

What we collect

Contact form. Your name, email address, company (if you give it) and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.

Client portal. If you’re invited to the portal, we keep your email address so you can sign in with a one-time link. We store the files and notes you upload and the files we deliver to you, and we keep a log of portal activity (who uploaded, viewed, downloaded or deleted which file, and when) so both sides have a clear record of the work.

Site usage. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits and measure page performance. They don’t use cookies and don’t identify you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Cookies

The portal sets cookies only to keep you signed in. The public site sets none.

How client files are protected

Portal files are stored in private storage. Only the people on your company’s portal account and Clarent Consulting can see them, and downloads use short-lived links. Files are never sent as email attachments; we email you a link to sign in instead.

Files you upload may contain information about other people, such as your employees or customers. We use that information only to do the work you’ve engaged us for, on your behalf, and under the terms of our engagement.

Who processes it

The site is hosted on Vercel. Contact-form messages, portal accounts, files and activity logs are stored with our database provider, Supabase. Emails, including portal notifications, are sent through Resend. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages while they’re useful for the conversation. We keep portal files and records for the length of an engagement and afterwards only as long as we need them for the work, our records or our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your files at any time.
